Printmaker for hire

The world of traditional Japanese woodblock prints has always been on of collaboration.

The trinity of craftsmen and now women - Designer, Carver and Printer came together to create these timeless works of art. Today is no different. While I have designed prints myself, my skill set lays on the side of production. There are now countless wonderfully talented illustrators, designers and artists who’s work aligns perfectly with the sensibilities and ethos of classical Ukiyo-e.

I reach out on occasion to designers myself but it is here that I put out then open call to anyone who feels as though their work fits well into what we Ukiyo-e printmakers do. It is my job and the pride of my work to translate your work into countless, identical prints - Carved in Japanese cherry wood and printed onto wonderful Hosho paper from the same town in Japan that has made paper for printmaking for the past two centuries.

If you are interested in collaborating or would just like to know more about the process, you contact me here. I truly look forward to hearing from you!
